Mystery is Official Selection at Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival

CA--The critically acclaimed documentary "Villisca: Living with a Mystery," by
filmmakers Kelly and Tammy Rundle, is an official selection for the upcoming Cedar Rapids
Independent Film Festival. "Villisca" will screen on Friday, April 7, 2006
at 8:00pm and on Saturday, April 8, 2006 at 10:30am at the Collins Road Theatres in
Kelly and Tammy are the
owners of Fourth Wall Films, an independent film and video production company. They
are currently in production on "Lost Nation: The Ioway," a documentary exploring
Iowa's original Native American inhabitants, the gradual loss of their ancestral lands,
and dissolution of their unique culture. "Lost Nation" will premiere in
Des Moines at the State Historical Society of Iowa in October 2007.
The Cedar Rapids event will be the second film festival for "Villisca."
The film had a successful 49-city theatrical release over 14-months that
qualified it for the Academy Award competition in the documentary feature category.
The film explores the still-unsolved 1912 Villisca, Iowa axe murder mystery, and the
resulting chaos and division in the small rural community.
"Villisca: Living with a Mystery" is available on a full-featured DVD at over 60
retail and rental stores, and at Amazon.com and VilliscaMovie.com.
